This course will help real estate, appraisal and insurance professionals in the identification and evaluation of several systems in residential real estate. Participants will learn about the various heating and cooling systems and understand the advantages and disadvantages of each. Energy efficiency, costs and repair issues will be discussed as well as the new carbon monoxide detector statute. We will also look at various septic systems and well issues that may affect the sale of property including the challenges with city systems. These are issues that affect real estate sales and real estate, appraisal and insurance professionals can add value to their service with an awareness of these important systems.

This dynamic day includes the required Fair Housing and Agency Law and explores a variety of ways to improve service to real estate and appraisal clients—both sellers and buyers. Consumer education is the key to successful transactions and relationships. This course will give you materials and ideas to share that will help your clients understand the real estate process and help you improve your personal service to everyone involved in the process.
