The Green Real Estate Scene

The world of real estate, appraisal and insurance are being impacted by many phases of the “greening” of America.  This course will objectively explore the trends and types of green building, energy efficiency, incentives and challenges of green real estate—both residential and commercial.  We will see how we can improve our service to clients in real estate, appraisal and insurance as we better understand the green scene in real estate in Minnesota.

Show Me the Money

Real estate doesn't sell unless the buyer can "show me the money!"  Today, there are new challenges and regulations that have impacted the buyer's ability to get financing, the appraiser's ability to evaluate property and the insurance agent's ability to insure property.  This impacts the real estate professional as they work with sellers and buyers.  All professionals need to be updated on the new standards and learn how to help their clients understand the challenges and opportunities ahead.
